And to make disciples, we must form communities that are like families. His commission is still valid today. Several of our communities have come into being thanks to missionary work, beginning with Ernesto and Rose Marie Bretscher, their co-workers Raineir and Anneke Van Gent, their son Ernest Daniel and Christa, and subsequently through other precious servants of God such as Giovanni and Franca Traettino, Massimo and Cosetta Loda, and Marco and Rossella Biancardi, to name but a few.
